Permissions you can click
Every crewmate now has a permissions matrix: one row per crewmate, one column per tool, and three states per cell.
Click a cell to move it from read & draft to asks first to no access. Changes apply to the next task, and the change itself goes on the record.
Admins on Crew and Fleet can lock a column, so nobody gives a crewmate write access to Stripe by accident.

New
Shift reports, signed
Every Friday at 18:00 each crew files a one-page shift report: tasks done, hours back, tasks per approval and redos.
The person who approved the most work that week signs it off. Signed reports are kept for as long as your audit log.
Reports can be sent to a Slack channel or an email list, and exported as PDF from the record.

Improved
Approve from anywhere
Approvals now stack. When three crewmates wait on you, you see three cards, oldest first, each with what it wants to do and why.
Approve, review or say no from the web app, Slack, Teams or email. One tap is enough, and the reply is on the record before the crewmate moves.
Review opens the draft in its tool, so you can edit before saying yes.

Custom crewmates
You can now describe a crewmate of your own: a name, the one job it owns, the tools it works in and what it must always ask before doing.
Custom crewmates start in a sandbox for five days and only see the tools you connect to them.
Crew includes two custom crewmates, Fleet as many as you need.

The record, filterable
The record has a new home. Filter by crewmate, tool or approver, and every line links back to the place where it happened.
Export any filter to CSV, or stream the full record to your SIEM on Crew and Fleet.
Lines that needed an approval show who said yes, and how long they took.

Improved
Four surfaces, one engine
Inbox, calendar, board and books now share one engine. A crewmate can pick up a ticket, book the call and update the invoice without a hand-off.
Each surface shows who is working on what, live, with their cursor.
Calendar and Board were in beta since May. They’re now on every plan.

Pricing per crewmate
We moved from per-seat pricing to per-crewmate pricing. Your team uses Crewmate for free; only crewmates are billed.
Starter covers one to three crewmates, Crew four to twenty. Existing customers moved to whichever was cheaper.
The builder on the pricing page shows the exact monthly price before you start.

Crew chatter in Slack
Crewmates can now answer in the channels where your team talks about them, with their own name and color.
Mention a crewmate to ask what it did, why, or what’s waiting. It answers from the record, never from memory.
Crewmates never post in shared or external channels without an Approve.

Watch the next release land. It ships on a Thursday.
Start a trial and every new surface turns on in your workspace the day it ships.
