Naming your crewmates, and why it matters
Ada, Milo, June and Theo started as placeholder names. They stuck because teams talk about their crewmates the way they talk about colleagues.

Early on, our agents had job titles: Research Agent, Outreach Agent. Nobody said those out loud. Within a week, every pilot team had renamed them.
Names change how people work with software. “Ask Ada” is easier to say in a standup than “run the research workflow”, and it makes it obvious who did what when you read the record.
A name, a color, a cursor
Each crewmate gets a name, a color and its own cursor. When four of them work in the same inbox, you can follow each one at a glance, and the color carries through the record, the shift report and Slack.
You can rename any crewmate in settings. Most teams keep the defaults; a few name them after old ships.
